ROAR is a multi-award-winning Glasgow hair salon group, founded in 2017 by Brian Leo McCallum, with salons in Strathbungo, Giffnock and Muirend.

We created ROAR around a simple belief: exceptional hair and an exceptional guest experience should always go together.

Our team specialises in hair colour, balayage, blonding, colour correction, cutting, styling and healthy hair, but technical expertise is only part of what makes ROAR different.

Amy is a New Talent Stylist and Colour Specialist at ROAR Hair & Beauty in Glasgow, working across our Strathbungo, Giffnock, and Muirend salons. With a particular passion for highlighting and blonding, Amy loves creating beautiful, personalised colour that feels soft, effortless, and completely tailored to the guest wearing it.

Amy began her journey in hairdressing at just 16, moving to Glasgow to follow her passion for the industry — and she hasn’t looked back since. Alongside blonding and highlights, she has developed a real love for lived-in colour, glossy brunettes, and soft, natural blends that enhance the hair without feeling overdone.

Whether you’re looking for brighter blonde, beautifully blended highlights, subtle dimension, a rich glossy brunette, or colour with a softer, more lived-in finish, Amy enjoys taking the time to understand what you want and creating a result that works with your hair, style, and lifestyle.

Known for her calm and caring approach, Amy wants every guest to feel comfortable, listened to, and completely at ease in her chair. She believes a great appointment is about more than the finished hair — it’s about creating an experience where you can relax, feel looked after, and leave with that extra boost of confidence.

Joining the Pride at ROAR marks an exciting chapter in Amy’s career, and she is passionate about continuing to learn, grow, and develop her skills as a colourist. She loves being surrounded by a creative team and is always looking for opportunities to build her knowledge and bring new techniques back to her guests.
