ROAR is a multi-award-winning Glasgow hair salon group, founded in 2017 by Brian Leo McCallum, with salons in Strathbungo, Giffnock and Muirend.

We created ROAR around a simple belief: exceptional hair and an exceptional guest experience should always go together.

Our team specialises in hair colour, balayage, blonding, colour correction, cutting, styling and healthy hair, but technical expertise is only part of what makes ROAR different.

Courtney is an Art Director and Master Colourist at ROAR Hair & Beauty in Muirend, Glasgow, with a true passion for all things colour. Known especially for vivid and creative hair colour, Courtney loves helping guests express their individuality through beautiful, confidence-boosting hair that feels completely personal to them.

From bold, vivid transformations and creative colour to softer, personalised shades, Courtney combines creativity with expert colour knowledge to create results that not only look amazing but feel right for the person wearing them. She is always exploring new techniques, experimenting with colour, and bringing fresh ideas and inspiration back to her guests at ROAR.

As a KMS Ambassador and Goldwell Master Colourist Intense graduate, Courtney has developed an advanced understanding of both colour and haircare. She believes beautiful colour should be supported by healthy hair, combining technical expertise with professional advice to help guests maintain their colour, condition, and style long after they leave the salon.

Courtney’s creativity and colour expertise have been recognised throughout her career. She was a member of the UK Goldwell Colour Creative Team in 2020 and 2021 and went on to win UK Silver at the Goldwell Global Creative Awards in 2021. More recently, she was named Stylist of the Year at the 2025 Salon Awards and was a finalist for Best Female Colourist at the 2026 SHABA Awards.

For Courtney, though, hair is about so much more than how it looks. It’s about helping people feel confident, comfortable, and completely themselves.
