ROAR is a multi-award-winning Glasgow hair salon group, founded in 2017 by Brian Leo McCallum, with salons in Strathbungo, Giffnock and Muirend.

We created ROAR around a simple belief: exceptional hair and an exceptional guest experience should always go together.

Our team specialises in hair colour, balayage, blonding, colour correction, cutting, styling and healthy hair, but technical expertise is only part of what makes ROAR different.

Nicole is a Designer Stylist and Colour Specialist at ROAR Hair & Beauty in Giffnock, Glasgow, with a passion for creating beautiful blondes, seamless balayage, and effortlessly blended colour. She loves helping guests achieve hair that feels fresh, flattering, and completely personal while giving them that extra boost of confidence that great hair can bring.

From bright, clean blondes to soft, lived-in colour and beautifully blended balayage, Nicole has a real eye for creating natural-looking results tailored to each guest. She takes the time to understand your hair, lifestyle, and how you want your colour to look and feel, creating a personalised plan that considers not only the finished result but how your colour will grow out and work for you between appointments.

Alongside her love of blonding and balayage, Nicole has a real talent for bridal hair and occasion styling. She loves creating beautiful, polished styles that complement each bride, their dress, and the overall feel of their day — helping guests feel confident, comfortable, and completely themselves for some of life’s most special moments.

Nicole’s talent for bridal hair was recognised when she was named Bridal Stylist of the Year at the 2023 Salon Awards. Her continued development and dedication have since seen her recognised across several areas of hairdressing, including finalist positions for Bridal Stylist, Hairstylist, and Colour Technician of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Beauty Awards, where she was also named Employee of the Year.

Since joining the Pride at ROAR, Nicole has continued to grow her skills, knowledge, and passion for the industry. She is always looking to learn and develop while making sure every guest receives a relaxed, personal experience and leaves the salon feeling fantastic about their hair.
