ROAR is a multi-award-winning Glasgow hair salon group, founded in 2017 by Brian Leo McCallum, with salons in Strathbungo, Giffnock and Muirend.

We created ROAR around a simple belief: exceptional hair and an exceptional guest experience should always go together.

Our team specialises in hair colour, balayage, blonding, colour correction, cutting, styling and healthy hair, but technical expertise is only part of what makes ROAR different.

Stef is an Art Director and Colour Specialist at ROAR Hair & Beauty in Giffnock, Glasgow, with over 18 years of experience in the hair industry. Specialising in hair extensions, balayage, colour, and cutting, she is passionate about helping guests feel confident and empowered through beautiful, healthy hair that feels completely personal to them.

With a particular love for hair extensions and balayage, Stef enjoys creating transformations that still feel natural, wearable, and right for the person wearing them. Whether you’re looking to add length and volume with extensions, create beautifully blended balayage, refresh your existing colour, or completely transform your look, Stef will work with you to create hair that complements your style, lifestyle, and individual goals.

Known for her calm and caring approach, Stef believes the experience in the chair is every bit as important as the finished result. She takes the time to really listen, understand your hair, and talk through what you’d like to achieve, creating a relaxed and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable, cared for, and completely at ease.

For Stef, hair is deeply personal, and building long-term relationships with her guests is one of the things she values most. She loves being part of each guest’s hair journey, from the first consultation and transformation to maintaining beautiful, healthy hair together over time.

Stef’s talent and experience were recognised when she was named a finalist for Best Female Stylist at the 2026 SHABA Awards.
